Due to the current changing health situation, many AA meetings across the U.S. and Canada are finding it safer to close. To help members during this time, we are giving everyone free access to all of our 2020 Grapevine and La Viña issues. (The audio to Grapevine’s stories will be available as well, so people can listen to the stories if they like.) Please share with your fellows. We have also included a link to our Youtube channel with some original audio stories as well as other important information.
Sadly, Per Group Conscience on 3-17-20, the Rockwell Group will cease meetings for a minimum of 2 weeks. We will then reassess the situation according to what is happening with the COVID-19 Virus in our area.
Please visit: www.aa-intergroup.org or okcintergroup.org for information on possible on-line meetings.
Members of the Rockwell Group are currently having on-line meetings and once they have firmed up information on times, and how to join those meetings, it will be posted on our own website as well as
re-posted here. (ourrockwellgroup.com)
What can you do to help now? CALL EACH OTHER…OFTEN, drop off food and water to those that can’t get out…and DON’T GIVE UP!!
For the wise have always known that no one can make much of his life until self-searching becomes a regular habit, until he is able to admit and accept what he finds, and until he patiently and persistently tries to correct what is wrong.
— TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 88
I have more than enough to handle today, without dragging along yesterday's baggage too. I must balance today's books, if I am to have a chance tomorrow. So I ask myself if I have erred and how I can avoid repeating that particular behavior. Did I hurt anyone, did I help anyone, and why? Some of today is bound to spill over into tomorrow, but most of it need not if I make an honest daily inventory.
Humility: "Perpetual quietness of heart. It is to have no trouble. It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore: to wonder at nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing against me. It is to be at rest when nobody praises me, and when I am blamed or despised, it is to have a blessed home in myself where I can go in and shut the door and kneel to my Father in secret and in peace, as in a deep sea of calmness, when all around and about is seeming trouble." ~ Dr. Bob and the Good Oldtimers, page 222. - The life story of the Fellowship's co-founder interwoven with recollections of early A.A. in the Midwest. 26 photographs.

"We are not a sociological entity, although sociologists find us fascinating. We are not a therapy group, although remarkable healing takes place among us. And we are not a religion, even though some people want to see us as such ... We are a spiritual entity."
